A spokesperson for the trust said: “The majority of Falkirk Community Trust properties have been closed since Christmas due to the coronavirus emergency.

"Since then we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that as we reopen, in line with Government guidance, our sites are fully prepared to provide a safe environment for both customers and staff alike.

“We are excited to see the return of our much-missed outdoor fitness classes at Grangemouth Stadium from Monday, March 15, offering another way for people to be physically active whilst many of our facilities remain closed.

"We are finalising a new class timetable which will be shared on our website and social media channels as soon as possible. To comply with Scottish Government guidelines, classes will be restricted to 14 participants and members will be able to reserve their place via our online booking system.

“The stadium will reopen with designated club access from Thursday, March 18 and on subsequent Tuesdays and Thursdays after that date. However, there will be no access to changing rooms and the cafe and gym will also remain closed at this time.

"Please be aware Scottish Government travel restrictions still apply, and people should continue to stay as close to home as possible.”

The trust has been working to facilitate access to outdoor pitches with minimal impact on next week’s return of all pupils.
