Thanks to kind-hearted locals and supermarkets Camelon Community Hub members delivered over 500 Easter Eggs to schoolchildren. They were helped in delivering all the goodies by Falkirk Safebase Street Pastors and Camelon Juniors.

Tesco, Morrisons and Asda all helped provided enough for every child nominated, and residents also handed in eggs – with one donating 100 sweet treats.

Iain Goodall of the recently set up hub thanked everyone for donations and also all the Easter ‘bunnies’ for helping with the delivery.

The community hub that began as a breakfast club for children in Camelon is now helping the most vulnerable people in the area by delivering food and other essentials.

Camelon Community Hub was established by Iain, a coach with Camelon Juniors Football Club and Gary, the club’s head of youth, who both got involved when it was announced that Ochiltree Social Club was closing.

Find out more about them on Facebook under Camelon Community Hub or call 07470 848564.
