Camelon Tesco staff get walking for worthy cause
Workers at Camelon’s Tesco store are not letting COVID-19 – and the fact it cancelled this year’s Race for Life event – stop them covering their own route to raise cash.

At 11am on Sunday, September 27 the formidable four-strong team of colleagues – Lesley, Nikki, Sajjida and Susan – plan to trek from their own Tesco in Glasgow oad in Camelon to all the other branches of the supermarket giant in the area – the Tesco Express in Camelon Road, Falkirk, the Tesco superstore in Falkirk Central Retail Park, and the store in Redding Road, Brightons – before returning to their own shop at the end of the day.
The quartet has already raised almost £700 for Cancer Research UK and they have not even pounded the pavements on their marathon challenge yet.
