Baby of the week: Rory David Corcoran

THE PARENTS: Mum, Gemma Wilson (27) is a project coordinator while dad, David Corcoran (31) in a quarry operative. The parents are from Denny.

THE PREGNANCY: Mum found the pregnancy rather difficult because Rory was so big but other than that all was well.

THE BIRTH: It didn’t go very smoothly as after being induced and after 15 hours in labour, mum was then rushed away for an emergency c-section.

THE NAME: The name was a pretty last minute decision but they knew it was perfect the moment they saw him. They went with Rory as that is what dad’s sister was going to call her child had she been a boy.

THE BABY: He is the most happy, loving and content child.

THE GRANDPARENTS: His grandparents on his mum’s side are Shirley and Steven Wilson who are from Alloa. His grandparents on his dad’s side are Theresa and Mick, who are from Bonnybridge.
