Baby of the week: Grangemouth tot Lottie McCracken

Mum Emma McCracken, 33, is a civil servant, while dad Stuart McCracken, 34, is a production supervisor. Big sister Olivia is 16. The family live in Grangemouth.

Mum said the pregnancy was pretty straightforward until 28 weeks when she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. When it came to the birth she was induced on the 17th and Lottie was born the following afternoon.

Lottie is named after Emma’s gran, Charlotte. Emily is after Stuart’s gran.

Lottie is a smiley baby who is very cheeky and has recently found her little voice so is very vocal, her first word being mum,

The proud grandparents are Gérry and Charlotte McNiven and Steven and Sharon McCracken.

The couple would like to thank the midwifes and consultants in the labour ward and ward 8.
