Baby of the week: Grangemouth tot Isla Nolan

Mum Siobhan Preston, 30, dad David Nolan, 34, and big brother, Daniel who is seven live in Grangemouth.

Mum said apart from a scare at the start, the pregnancy went very smoothly with no complications, but it was difficult being pregnant during the pandemic.

Mum and dad chose the name Isla after David phoned Siobhan one day while at work and said he’d heard a name on the radio he liked. As soon as he said Isla, Siobhan knew that was going to be her name.

Isla is a very happy baby who is always smiling and laughing. She is very independent wanting to do things for herself and has a cheeky personality.

Isla’s grandparents are Iain and Wendy Nolan and John and Lindsay Liehne.

Mum and dad would like to thank all the midwives and consultants at FVRH and all their friends and family.
