Baby of the week: Grangemouth tot Amber Dawson

THE PARENTS: Mum Amy Forsyth (21) is a stay at home mum, while dad Lewis Dawson (23) is a joiner in business with his dad. They live in Grangemouth.

THE PREGNANCY: Mum said the pregnancy was a good pregnancy with no complications and Amber was healthy and active all the way through.

THE BIRTH: The birth wasn’t as bad as mum expected. Her waters broke at the back of ten at night and she was in and out of hospital within the day.

THE NAME: Mum and dad were both thinking of names from near the start of the pregnancy and they both thought Amber. Her middle names, Mary and Lynn, are the names of both her gran and grandma.

THE BABY: Amber is a smiley, happy wee girl every day. She sleeps through the night and is always so happy.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Grandma and grandad Lynn and James Dawson; granny Mary Forsyth; great granny Isabell Forsyth who likes to be called gran gran; great gran and papa Rosemary and Iain Mitchell and great papa Billy Mansell.
