Dad Ryan Howitt, 25, is a farm worker, while mum Emma Smith, 28, is a full time mum at present. Lía’s big brother Ryan is just a year and six days older than her. The family live in Denny.

Mum says the pregnancy was fast, but very tiring and she felt like she was pregnant for over two years as she had not long had her first. She said the birth was nice and quick, but it was a bit strange with the pandemic going on, but the midwives were brilliant.

Mum and dad chose the name Lía Elizabeth because Lía means the bearer of good news and Elizabeth is after Emma’s mum. Lía’s a wild one and likes to be nosey. She is always cheery.

Her proud grandparents are Elizabeth Ann Smith and Debbie and Roddy Howitt.

Emma would like to thank the midwives at Forth Valley and her auntie Debbie.
