Baby of the week: Denny tot Kady Dunlop

Kady Pamela Dunlop was born on October 3, 2019, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital at 3.29am, weighing 7lbs 10oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Caitlin Connor (21) is an admin assistan, while dad Yan Dunlop (24) is a window cleaner. The family live in Denny.

THE PREGNANCY: Mum said the pregnancy was straightforward and the only hard thing about it was the sickness and heartburn.

THE BIRTH: Mum was induced two weeks after her due date and was in labour for 12 hours. She said: “The midwife said I had an easy, straightforward birth but it didn’t feel like that to me!”

THE NAME: Mum and dad both loved the name from the start. Caitlin’s mum had told me the name when she was pregnant with my sister and I loved it. I wanted her to name my sister it!

THE BABY: Kady is a happy baby and bubbly.

THE PROUD GRANDPARENTS: Pamela Connor, Terry Connor, Karen Dunlop, Roy Freck, Jan Matulewicz and Karen Matulewicz.
