Baby of the week: Denny tot Ella Shields

Mum Amanda Bennie, 28, is a health care assistant, while dad Jamie Shields, 33, is a window installer. Ella’s big brother is Kai. The family live in Denny.

Mum said the pregnancy was really hard as she was severely sick for months.

However, the birth itself she says was great. It was a planned c-section that went well.

Mum and dad had their choice of name down to two, and they agreed on Ella once she was born. Georgina is in remembrance of Amanda’s gran.

Mum says that Ella is a “total princess”.

Her proud grandparents are Carole Murray and William Black.

The couple would like to thank Amanda's mum and Wullie for the support they have given them all, and also thank you to the staff at Forth Valley Royal.
