Baby of the week: Cooper David James McNaughton

Cooper McNaughton was born at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on July 16, 2019 at 5.55am. He weighed 7lbs 2oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum, Pamela Hunter (32), is a mental health support worker, while dad, Iain McNaughton (33), is an electrician. The family is from Falkirk.

THE PREGNANCY: The pregnancy was fine apart from some sickness in the beginning.

THE BIRTH: The birth was over in four hours with no complications.

THE BABY: Cooper is always smiling but does keep his mum awake at night.

THE NAME: Dad picked his name while they were in the hospital.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Jacqui Hunter, from Larbert, and James Hunter, from Alloa and Lynne and David McNaughton from Polmont.

THANKS: The family would like to say a big thank you to Pamela’s sister, Clair Millar, who was her birthing partner and to the grandparents. They would also like to thank all their family and the midwives.
