Baby of the week: Carronshore tot Archie Porter

Mum Kirsty Sime is a carer, while dad Calum Porter is a joiner. Archie’s proud big sister is Lilly. They live in Carronshore.

Archie is their miracle baby, after mum had private surgery to reconstruct her tubes and was told there was a chance she may not be able to have any more children. She fell pregnant three months later.

Archie was born two weeks early.

Mum and dad liked the name Archie and had no idea why. They found out when Archie was three months old that his Grampa built model aeroplanes and his favourite was called Archie.

He is the happiest, smiliest baby. His grandparents are Deborah and John and Gail and Ian.
