Baby of the week: Burntisland tot Sienna Downie

The family...

Mum Gemma Adams (27) is a childcare practitioner, while dad Greig Downie (29), is a domestic assistant. Sienna has two big brothers – 
Andrew (9) and Alfie (4). They live in Burntisland.

The pregnancy...

Mum said the pregnancy was up and down as Sienna was a lazy girl and she had to be checked a lot for reduced movements.

The birth...

Mum says the birth was great, she had a semi-planned c-section which went as smooth as possible but it took a little longer to recover.

The name...

Mum and dad went through loads of names and when they came across Sienna it stuck out to them. Her 
middle names are of Greig’s late gran Isobel and Gemma’s family name Adams.

The baby...

Sienna is becoming a cheeky monkey now she has started smiling and cooing away. She’s very loving and loves cuddles all day every day. She’s a very quiet baby.

The proud grandparents...

On mum’s side there is 
Granny Christine and 
Grandad Mark, and on dad’s side there is Nana Allie and Nana Vetty.
