THE DETAILS: Ruaridh Colin David Monro was born on December 23, 1019 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital at 2.06am, weighing 6lbs 1oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Colette (22) is currently a full time single mum, she previously worked for Arinsdale Ltd. She lives in Bonnybridge.

THE PREGNANCY: Mum says she had a “really good” pregnancy.

THE BIRTH: Ruaridh was due on January 6, however mum was induced on December 20 and he was born by c-section on the 23rd.

THE NAME: Mum had a few names picked out but she ended up going with the first name that popped into her head when she found out the gender.

THE BABY: Ruaridh is the most happiest little angel whose smile could light up the room.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Gran Pauline Monro, Papa Colin Monro and Great Grandad David Monro.

THANKS: Colette would like to thank all of her friends and family, especially her mum and dad, for their continuous support. She said: “Myself and Ruaridh are so grateful and we love you all so much.” Mum would also like to say a massive thank you to the NHS staff who brought Ruaridh into the world safely.
