Baby of the week: Tamfourhill tot Franco Jackson

Mum Chloe Jackson is a care assistant, while dad Andy Jackson is a fire protection operative. The family live in Tamfourhill.

Mum said the pregnancy was great, but boring due to lockdown as the couple couldn’t go out shopping for Franco or do anything. She said the last two months were the hardest as she got really uncomfortable.

The birth itself was quick, with Franco arriving within two hours of labour starting.

Before their gender scan, the couple agreed dad had the choice of a boy’s name and mum the choice of a girl’s name. They agreed on Franco as it’s similar to Chloe’s dad’s name, Francis.

Franco is a cheeky, content little baby.

His proud grandparents are Gran and Grumps Alison and Frankie, and Nannie and Papa Steve, Shona and Stevie.

Mum and dad would like to thank everyone who sent well wishes, gifts and cards, as well as Gran Alison for being by their side during labour and for everything she does for them.
