Baby of the week: Rose MacDonald

Rose MacDonald was born on November 28, 2018 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 8lbs 5oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Tammy Reid (21) is a stay at home mum, while dad Dylan MacDonald (23) is a ground worker. The family live in Bo’ness.

THE PREGNANCY: Tammy felt she had a really bad pregnancy with Rose and that she was sick all the way through.

THE BIRTH: Tammy felt her birth went a lot better than her pregnancy did. Rose is her first child and she found her birth was a lot better than she had expected. Rose was born a week late with no complications.

THE BABY: Tammy said that Rose is a brilliant and smart baby who has just learned to pout. She is a great sleeper and sleeps through most of the night.

THE NAME: Tammy had said that if she had a girl she wanted to call her Rose after her gran.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Rose’s very proud grandparents are Paula Reid and Alan Hamilton from Bo’ness and Charlene Lindsay and Jock Cumming also from Bo’ness.
