Baby of the week: Macy Brown

Mum Michelle Weston 41, is a pension specialist, while dad Barry David Brown, 44, is a design director. Macy has a big brother Ewan who is 14 and a big sister, Isla who is 13. The family live in Kinnaird, Larbert.

Michelle said she loved every minute of being pregnant as to be a mum was something she has always wanted.

She said the birth went perfectly and the hospital staff were fantastic.

Mum and dad wanted a name that was uncommon and they had a short list of names picked out.

She started off as Baby Boo until they finalised on Macy.

Isabella is a family name on dad’s side and Josephine was chosen as a tribute to Michelle’s dad, Joseph, who passed away seven years ago.

Macy is a very happy wee soul, with the most beautiful smile and she is a bit of a chatterbox like her mummy.

Her proud grandparents are Lorraine Weston and Edith and Malcolm Brown.

Mum and dad would like to thank the wonderful staff at Forth Valley Royal, as well as their families and friends for all the beautiful gifts.

Michelle would like to thank Barry for giving her the greatest gift of becoming a mum to their beautiful Macy Boo.
