Baby of the week: Devon-Rose Mary Watt

Devon-Rose Mary Watt was born on October 9, 2018 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, weighing 7lb 5oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Krystle Gray (31) is an assistant architectural technician, while dad Martin Watt (29) is a joiner. The family live in Grangemouth.

THE PREGNANCY: Krystle felt her pregnancy went in very quick but she really struggled as it was during the hottest summer on record.

THE BIRTH: Devon-Rose was born at 11.01am by emergency c-section after a long 14 hour labour. She was born a week earlier than expected.

THE BABY: Devon-Rose is the happiest and cheekiest little baby and she has the biggest smiles for everyone. She loves to play with her big brother Connor (8).

THE NAME: Krystle and Martin chose Devon-Rose as they both liked Devon and Connor liked Rosie so they settled on Devon-Rose. Her middle name is after Martin’s dad’s sister.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Devon-Rose’s very proud grandparents are Paul Gray from Maddiston, Kirsteen MacPherson from Stirling and Ian and Ann Watt from Grangemouth.
