Baby of the week: Ally Jaimè Couser

Ally Jaimè Couser was born at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on March 20, 2019 at 21.04 weighing 6lbs 5oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum, Jenna Beattie (28) works in a baby shop while dad Alan Couser (41) is an off shore engineer. The family is from Falkirk.

THE PREGNANCY: Mum said that the pregnancy was fine and that she kept well throughout.

THE BIRTH: Since Jenna is diabetic, she was induced into labour early for a long 12 hour birth. Ally was born at 39 weeks.

THE NAME: Ally’s name comes from her dad being called Alan and Jaimè is from her great grandad James.

THE BABY: She is described as being very laid back and is a perfect addition to the family and a loving little sister to Billie.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Her grandparents are Denise and Billy Beattie who are from Grangemouth and Slammanan, and Shirley Couser who is also from Grangemouth. Her great grandparents are Anne and Alex Charleston, Fay Couser and Rae and Billy Beattie.
