Grangemouth’s Inchyra Park is gearing up for some frighteningly good fun next month as the popular Pumpkins in the Park event returns.

The event, organised by Friends of Inchyra Park, takes place from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, October 31, gives youngsters the chance to pick up a pumpkin and enjoy themselves on inflatables, which parents can indulge themselves with ice cream and scran from the chip van.

Last year’s event featured over 30 hard working volunteers who helped distribute 400 pumpkins, 200 goodie bags, 100 toffee apples and loads of sweets.

"It was so nice to see everyone come out,” said organisers, who revealed one family were so hyped about the event they turned up at the park a week early.
