The 149th Airth Highland Games should have been taking place today in North Green Park.

However, as with so many things in recent months, the Covid-19 pandemic meant organisers were forced to cancel the annual event, which draws in hundreds of spectators from near and far.

As we are unable to bring you the photographs from the 2020 event, we have instead stepped back into our archives to bring you a selection of images from the 144th event five years ago.
