Parking warning at Polmont station

Drivers and commuters are being warned to park responsibly in Polmont or face the penalty.

Residents near Polmont train station are still being driven to despair with people parking irresponsibly around the station and clogging up streets and driveways.

Police recently towed away a car and are continually monitoring the area to patrol the problem.

Grangemouth-based Inspector Chris Stewart said: “Through engagement with the local community we are aware of the parking concerns that exist in the vicinity of the railway station.

“We’re monitoring the situation closely and when necessary taking appropriate enforcement action.

“Officers routinely patrol the area and will continue to do so for the foreseeable 
future.”
