The Young Portonians put on one of their best ever productions last night and gave under fire Grangemouth Town Hall a starring role.
Thursday night’s performance of Aladdin used pure entertainment to fire a broadside at Falkirk Community Trust’s proposals to shut the town hall and young actors became activists to keep the building open through the sheer enthusiasm of their performance.
If this is to be the last time the Young Portonians play the town hall stage they could not have done any better – singing, dancing, comedy and a driving live rock band to propel things along.
The biggest cheer of the night, however, came when Grangemouth Town Hall made a guest appearance.
Aladdin runs at the town hall until Saturday, when there will also be a matinee performance.
If you have not got a ticket to see it yet, get one.
