Over 90 sheep stolen from Denny farm

Over 90 sheep have been stolen from a farm in Denny worth nearly £13,000, police have said.

The sheep were stolen between January 30 and February 14. The farmer noticed 96 were missing after his livestock went through a vaccination process.

The farmer has lost almost £13,000 worth of livestock after 46 mule sheep (valued at £150 a head) and 50 Texel crosses (valued at £120 each) were taken.

Officers are warning farmers in the Forth Valley area to be vigilant regarding the safety of their livestock.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the theft to call 101 quoting CF0025340217.
