There will be a charity prize bingo in aid of Relationship Scotland Central in Camelon Bowling Club on Tuesday, November 4 at 7.30 p.m. Entry £1. All welcome.
The next drop-in session at St Ninians Library, Mayfield Centre, Stirling, will be on Tuesday. The drop-ins are open to anyone looking for some advice on family history research with volunteers from Central Scotland Family History Society available to offer help and are run in conjunction with Stirling Council Libraries and Archives. A support group for people bereaved by suicide meets on an informal basis once a month on the last Monday of each month from 6 to 8.30 p.m. The group welcomes everyone who has experienced the loss through suicide of a person close to them – family, partner or friend. The group facilitators have experience participating in and facilitating groups, and are experienced counsellors. Croileagan Clach Mhanainn – Gaelic Parent and Child Group in Menstrie – will be holding its AGM on Tuesday at 11 a.m. (during group time) in Menstrie Parish Church Hall Annexe. All are welcome. Contact Kerry on 07805704884 for further information.
A Culross Abbey concert will be held on November 7. This is an evening of traditional music and song with the Edinburgh group Ceilidh Caleeries Buskers and guests. The concert begins at 7.30 p.m. and tickets are available at the door, priced £10 (concessions £8). Tea and coffee available at the interval.
