Joyce Begg will reveal her life as a writer to the Forth Valley U3A tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m. in the Mayfield Centre, St Ninian’s, Stirling. You are warmly invited to come along, enjoy the talk about a writer’s life and discover more about U3A while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and chatting with some of the members. Family History

The next meeting of Central Scotland Family History Society will be held on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Stirling. There will be a talk on ‘Discover Scottish land records’ by Chris Paton. Tea and biscuits will be available after the talk providing an opportunity for people to meet others who share an enthusiasm for family history. Non-members are very welcome at the meetings although there is a charge of £2.
