National Trust

The Stirling Members’ Centre NTS is running a bus trip to the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh on September 17. It will leave Springkerse Retail Park at 9.30 a.m. calling at the Smith Art Gallery shortly after. Return will be approximately 4.40 p.m. The cost is £18 pp (SMC members) and £21 pp (non SMC members). Places are subject to availability, nonmembers welcome. Support Group

Osteoporosis Support Group has unfortunately had to cancel the meeting arranged for Tuesday, August 26 in Alloa. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 21 in Stirling. Further details can be obtained from Janice on 01786 463098.

Bereavement Support

A support group for people bereaved by suicide meets on an informal basis once a month on the last Monday of each month from 6 to 8.30 p.m. The group at Falkirk District Association for Mental Health welcomes everyone who has experienced the loss through suicide of a person close to them – family, partner or friend. The group facilitators have experience participating in and facilitating groups, and are experienced counsellors. Royal Engineers

The next meeting of the Forth Valley branch will be held tomorrow (Friday) in the RBLS Club in Grangemouth. The meeting starts at 7.30 p.m. All Sappers and new members are most welcome.

NHS Retirement Fellowship

The first meeting of the new session will be held in St Ninian’s Parish Church Hall on Wednesday, August 27 at 2 p.m. We look forward to a good attendance.
