Join us at the Forth Valley U3A’s quiz on Friday, April 17 at 2 p.m. in the Mayfield Centre, St Ninian’s, Stirling. You are warmly invited to come along, contribute an answer or two and discover more about U3A while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and home baking with some of the members. Family History

The next drop-in session at St. Ninians Library, Mayfield Centre will be on Tuesday, April 7. The drop-ins are open to anyone looking for some advice on family history research with volunteers from Central Scotland Family History Society available to offer help and are run in conjunction with Stirling Council Libraries and Archives. Booking is preferable. Please phone the Library on 01786 472069 to book a time-slot. The next meeting of Central Scotland Family History Society will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 7.30 p.m. at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum. There will be a talk on “Tracing the Teachers: sources for family Historians in the Jordanhill Archives” by Dr Anne Cameron, Archives Assistant, Strathclyde University Archives.
