“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.

“As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55: 8 & 9)

Every person is unique, having different environments, influences, experiences and upbringing which impacts on their thinking and actions.

So no two think then act in exactly the same way. Our inspired text declares God thinks differently from us.

The great wonder is that we can know what God’s thoughts are, because he wants us to.

The fullest expression of God’s thoughts and actions are seen in Jesus Christ. Wow!

Jesus said, ”Eternal life means to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent.”

We can only know someone from being with them, listening to them and watching them in action.

Jesus is known through trusting in who he is and what he has done.

This has been adequately expressed in the New Testament by those who knew and lived with Jesus.

Before suffering on the cross Jesus said, ”For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”

If we don’t know him then we’re lost and Jesus is seeking to find us then save us.

This is real love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. (1 John 4:10)

Do you know Jesus? If not, then you can today by placing your trust in him; then he promises to save you and gifts you eternal life.
