Strathcarron salutes its stalwart supporters

Strathcarron Hospice is at the very heart of your community and we appreciate all the kind words everyone has to say about the special services we provide.

However, we would not be able to do all that we do without the support – in all its forms – from organisations, groups and individuals in that very community we care for.

Strathcarron relies on an army of volunteers performing a huge variety of tasks here at the hospice and out in the community and events like our Swamp Challenge and 10K Race see Rotarians, Grand Provincial Lodge, Police Scotland youth volunteers and Air Cadets, not to mention our community police and Fire and Rescue Service stepping up to support us!

A number of people have joined our Compassionate Neighbours scheme giving as much time as they can afford to support our friends and neighbours, be that in practical ways or even just with a cuppa and a friendly ear.

Working together, we really can make a difference in our communities.

More from Strathcarron: Grateful to all who help

Strathcarron Hospice is here for the whole community but it is that very community that makes it possible for us to continue providing our very special services to the people of Forth Valley, Kilsyth and Cumbernauld.
