Police Call: Slow down or face living with the guilt

So officers are united in their support for the current campaign from Road Safety Scotland encouraging road users in Scotland’s towns and villages to keep our roads safe.

The message is clear: slow down, watch your speed, don’t let yourself become distracted and be aware of other road users.

There has been a lot of publicity recently regarding the number of drivers who still use mobile devices while driving.

However, distractions can also come from changing radio channels, eating at the wheel and letting your concentration slip.

Many of us will even admit we don’t remember our journey, especially if it’s a normal day to day route.
