No tears with this farewell

This week has probably been one of the best I’ve had for a long, long time. I’ve gotten rid of something I’ve had to put up with for the last two years. Something that I had no clue how to put up with, let alone understand it. Something that has had me worried and has left me feeling a little bit stupid.

This week, I got rid of Standard Grade Physics.

I’ll miss sitting with the people I did when we were in class, and both the teachers I had were absolutely fantastic and completely understood that, when it came to physics, it went in one ear and out the other.

But I must say I’ve never been so happy about dropping a subject in my

Another thing that’s cheered me up is knowing that my last exam was yesterday, meaning goodbye stress city!

No more worrying about revising or getting up for an exam or making sure I’ve not lost my Scottish Candidate Number.

As my dad says, I’ll get to “Wooohsaaaah” and kick up my feet and do nothing until Monday when we’re back at school.

And yet another thing that’s been great is that, on Saturday, it was my friend Rebecca’s 16th.

Safe to say it was an absolutely fantastic night. It was great being able to not worry about things like exams and just go out with my friends and meet new people and have a really, really good time.

What also made my night was that I was supplied with a chicken fillet supper, and me being a lover of food it was a case of “now you see it, now you don’t” and it was gone within about 30 seconds.

It was my little brother’s birthday yesterday (bless him, I said I would give him a mention this week as part of his present, so Happy Late Birthday pal!),

And here’s the big one ...

It’s less than a month till I head of to Italy with my best pals!

Oh my goodness. Things are looking pretty spectacular for Sophs right now.
