I wish it was me at T in the Park

I’m so jealous of all the people going to T in the Park this year when I can’t.

Seriously, I think every single one of my favourite bands is going to be there.

I know the tickets cost a lot of money, and, yes, I also know that the conditions aren’t the nicest, but, in all fairness, it sounds completely worth it.

Me and mum always sit and watch it on the telly, and we always go on about how we’ve always wanted to go but we’ve never had the guts to.

Well, I’ve now come to the conclusion that I will definitely, 100 per cent be going to T in the Park next year. I will. There is no question about it.

Even if I have to walk to Balado myself in a downpour, I will.

I know quite a few people who are going and whenever they talk about it I seriously want to fly kick them to the face I’m so jealous.

For example, I was out the other day and my friend Euan turned round and said: “Right, Mumford and Sons or Calvin Harris, who will I go and see?”

Well, I’m not joking when I say this, I wanted to get up, stand up on my toes (because he’s quite tall), slap him and tell him to shut up.

Yes that sounds nasty, but he’d probably just laugh at me and tell me to get a grip.

Just for the record, I think he’s going to see Mumford and Sons, much to the disapproval of the rest of his pals.

And then another friend who I work with was describing in great detail just how small a bag she’s managed to fit four days’ worth of stuff in.

Just to top it all off, look at the weather. Walk to your window, and look out. It’s beautiful isn’t it?

Lucky, lucky people.

Please excuse me while I go and cry in a corner.
