Explorers from the Cross Unit in Larbert are preparing for a variety of activities over the next few weeks – and none of it is for the faint hearted.
They have already been challenged to escape from a locked room in Glasgow within the 60 minute time limit and earlier this week they were practising their overarm smashes with a free tennis session at Inchyra.
With a break for Easter they will preparing for a day of canyoning.
The event will be run by section assistant, Neil Galloway, along with other certified swift water technicians on the canyoning team as part of Blair Atholl Jamborette.
And if all that wasn’t enough there is a day trip to the National Museum of Flight in North Berwick planned for later this summer.
There wasn’t a mad hatter in sight when the 93rd Braes Beavers celebrated Mother’s Day with an evening tea party.
The youngsters invited their families to share their evening.
And the Beavers made sure no one was missed out when they ran a series of games for their parents and grandparents.
Then, while the adults enjoyed their cream teas, the beavers worked on crafts.
As leader Anne Marie Waddell said: “We wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone for making the effort to join us, we have the most amazing families behind our Beavers.”
