As Christians we have our time of prayer and our time of quiet devotion in the Word, and to discipline our minds.

”Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.”

We should make a habit to centre our minds on Jesus.

Let the Lord take our tongue and nail it to the cross. The scripture says that we smile with the tongue.

In the book of Job, we read: “I’ve made a covenant with my eyes.”

The highest calling in one’s life should be to centre everything we do and say upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

A spirit-filled life produces the fruit of the Spirit in a believer’s life.

Having had your life cleansed by the blood of Christ, having submitted and yielded every area of your life to the Lord, you can claim to be filled with His Spirit. Each day we try anew to live victoriously, but fail without the Lord’s help, this is why it is important we lead our life in prayer and devotion in His Word.

It is not easy; in fact it is impossible to live life without Him. We need Him every hour of the day and night.

Just like the Apostle Paul, “To live is Christ.” As Christians this should be our goal.

So let’s live our lives with this goal. In order for us to be able to show others the beauty of Jesus, and have them come to know Him as we do, we need to live Holy Lives before the Lord. Let the mind of Christ Jesus be in you (Philippians 2:5). Christ died for you and He died not only for you, but for everyone living today. And He is calling your name right now. He loves you!
