Summer Adventures are available for under 11s and others for older ones. These encourage these young people to spend time outdoors trying some great activities. Some in their own gardens, parks and open spaces and perhaps further afield on days or holidays away with families. The challenge is to see how many activities can be ticked off whilst having fun (details on Boys-brigade.org.uk/summer-activities.

Devotionals: Steve Legg, an entertainer, speaker and editor of ‘Sorted Magazine’ has recorded a series of six devotional videos based on his book ‘Time Together’. They can be used as part of Virtual Sessions; streamed or downloaded and played to groups as part of a devotional time . Available from #BBatHOME Vimeo channel at vimeo.com/channels/bbathome.

As our home and virtual sessions move on, a new stage of programming will be to support Face-to-Face (Socially Distanced) Activities and Virtual Sessions. Resources will be provided with a Programme Planner accompanied by Activity Cards and will be delivered monthly throughout Autumn and be available in advance. Once we are able to do so, with the earliest being January 2021 we will be able to return to normal programming. Then the intention is that such resources will be distributed with the Spring 2021 Gazette at the end of November.

All very new concepts, but with faith and diligence a platform from which to build the future. Good luck, as we prayerfully try to navigate these uncharted waters.
