It is a well-known fact that if you have a goal in mind you are far more likely to succeed with your plans.

For those of you who have a goal in mind of getting fitter in 2018 why not consider registering for a Strathcarron Hospice challenge.

Not only will this motivate you to keep up with your training, you will also know you are supporting your local hospice, and those it cares for, by taking part in one of our ‘‘sporty’’ challenges.

We are proud to be an official charity partner of the iconic Stirling Marathon in 2018.

We have a number of limited free places available and all you need do is sign up, commit to the fundraising target and get training!

This year’s marathon takes place on April 29 so there’s still time to get your fitness levels up and our partners, Life-Fit of Falkirk, are there to offer additional support during the coming weeks and on the day itself.

If a marathon’s a step too far to consider then we have a slightly less demanding 10k race through the grounds of Stirling University on Sunday, October 14 By signing up for this popular annual event you will have more time to train through the summer months. This is a family friendly day with a children’s 2.5k race for the young ones and it’s never too early to get the wee people interested in fitness, fun and fundraising to help others!

If running really isn’t up your street what about taking part in the annual Forth Bridge Abseil?

This is a fantastic, rarely-available opportunity to challenge yourself and your comfort zone whilst abseiling down one of our most iconic landmarks.

The Rotary Club of South Queensferry operate this event and we are proud to partner with.Numbers are limited and likely to sell out by the end of February so best book your spot now!
