Column: Share your experience of Strathcarron

Do you have a story to tell about the care you or a member of you family received at Strathcarron Hospice?

Here at Strathcarron Hospice we’re really interested in hearing about people’s experiences of using our services. Honest and open feedback helps us to improve what we do so we can get it right for everyone.

We have teamed up with Care Opinion, the UK’s leading independent feedback platform for health and social care services.

This means people who use our services can now go onto the Care Opinion website and tell their story.

This will help us to learn and, ultimately, improve the services we offer.

How does it work?

Anyone who has experienced care from Strathcarron Hospice, either recently or within the last three years, can go onto the Care Opinion website to tell their story.

We want to hear about what we got right and what we could have done better.

The story will go straight to Care Opinion who will make sure no names are mentioned and, if appropriate, publish it on their website. All comments will remain anonymous.

Care Opinion will let us know when a story has been published so we can get in touch and respond to what’s been said. Care Opinion’s Mission is to provide an online platform so that people can share honest feedback easily and without fear; stories are directed to wherever they can help make a difference, and everyone can see how and where services are listening and changing in response.

We’re very excited to have this chance to hear your stories as they will help us to think about the services we offer from a different point of view.

If you want to share your story and make a difference to the care we provide, go to the Care Opinion website: www.careopinion.org.uk/youropinion.
