New Aldi store to open next week

Aldi will open the doors to its latest store in the Falkirk district in Polmont next week.

The opening date for the supermarket firm’s 66th shop in Scotland is next Thursday (April 21) at 8am at the former Co-op store which has been reconfigured and upgraded.

Robert Stoddart, property director for Aldi Stores, said: “We believe our plans will bring a big boost to the other neighbouring stores and businesses and we look forward to playing our role as part of a vibrant village centre. I do hope local shoppers will turn out in numbers and find out what Aldi has in store for Polmont.”
