Pupils and staff at Moray Primary school were shocked and saddened to discover their Willow Tunnel play area had been destroyed by vandals last night.
The 40 metre long structure was damaged at some point on Thursday night along with trees and other playground equipment.
Depute head teacher Linda McDonald said: “We are devastated. This tunnel had been created last year by staff and pupils and nothing like this has happened before. We take real ownership of the development of our school grounds and to have something like this happen is terrible.”
Police have been informed and will be investigating the incident.
