Max Andrew Christopher Alexander

THE DETAILS: Max Andrew Christopher Alexander was born at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, on May 31, 2016 at 9.04am weighing 8lb 3.5oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Holly Meikle (20) is a university student from Bainsford, while dad Scott Alexander (23) is a chef and originally from Skinflats.

THE PREGNANCY: Holly said it was fine and although she had a bit of sickness at the start, she was lucky and had no real problems throughout the nine months.

THE BIRTH: Baby had been due on June 5 but Holly was induced early and after eight hours in labour Max arrived safe and well. The new mum admits the experience was better than she had expected.

THE BABY: “He’s a great baby who is already sleeping through the night” said Holly.

THE NAME: Max is a name the couple both liked, while Andrew is after Holly’s granddad who died last year and Christopher is after Scott’s dad.

THE GRANDPARENTS: The new arrival is a first grandchild for Pauline and John Meikle of Bainsford and Christopher Alexander of Skinflats.
