Man dies after Clackmannanshire Bridge incident

A man who plunged into the Firth of Forth at Clackmannanshire Bridge has sadly died a short time after being rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland were called at 12.40pm on Friday, November 6 after reports of a man in the water at Clackmannshire Bridge. He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital where he died a short time later.

“His next of kin have been informed and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
