Tom Lamb (62) battled against heavy rain storms on his own to cycle 268 miles in aid of Maggie’s Forth Valley where he works as a benefits adviser.
His efforts have generated more than £500 for the centre and saw Tom set off from Bridge of Allan before passing through places including Balloch and Helensburgh and winding up back where he started earlier this month.
Explaining his reasoning for taking on the gruelling three-day challenge, Tom said: “What inspired me was the approach Maggie’s takes to the work it does, in particular the men’s breakfast club for men with cancer.
“I really wanted to do it to make sure people are of aware of it.”
