Members of over 70 lodges accompanied by 50 bands marched from Callendar Park to Victoria Park in support of the event organised by the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

Police Scotland reported two arrests - one for sectarian breach of the peace and the other for a domestic offence.

A spokeswoman said: “We can confirm the Orange Order event in Falkirk passed off without any major incident. There was some disruption to traffic, but very little reported antic social behaviour.”
