Site investigations and surveys ahead of repair works will take place on the A985 Kincardine Bridge starting from Monday, October 26.
Traffic will be controlled using temporary traffic lights with the bridge operating as a single lane, northbound and then southbound on Monday and Tuesday from 8pm to 5am.
An Amey spokesman said: “As the works will be carried out overnight only minimal delays are expected for vehicles using this route. While all effort will be made to reduce any inconvenience, road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly.
“Pedestrian footpaths/cycle paths will remain open throughout.”
