History Group

Maddiston & Rumford Local History Group will now hold its annual Burns celebration in Maddiston Community Centre on Monday from 1-3 p.m. Unfortunately the weather got in the way of the one planned for January 29, so hopefully the weather treats us a bit fairer this time. David Leask will be singing some traditional Scots songs which were collected by Burns as well as some songs that Burns penned himself and David Malloch will be reciting some Burns poetry. Haggis, neeps and tatties will be served courtesy of the lovely girls at the Community Centre - and all for free, so come along and join the fun.

Golf Club

A domino competition goes ahead at the Manuelrigg premises every Sunday afternoon when the winner can pick up a coo pie.
