This Sunday we have a special service which sees the Induction of Envoy Jacqueline Robertson, who is joining her husband Envoy David Robertson in full-time Ministry. Events and activities on at Maddiston Community Centre for today and the next week include; Today (Thursday) Giggles Toddlers group meets 12.30-2.3pm; and the Kempo Ju-Jitsu meet 7-9pm; On Friday the Credit Union will be open 10am – noon; On Tuesday the Kempo Ju-Jitsu meet 7-9pm; On Wednesday the Fast Track I.T. class is being held 9.30 – noon and the Childminding Group meets 9.30-11.30am (Call 501696 for information). We also have an I.T. suite for public use for internet access, email access, filling in online forms, job searches homework and printing/copying. Last Sunday, Morning Service in Muiravonside Parish Church was conducted by the Minister the Rev. Louise McClements. During the Intimations a warm welcome was given to Mrs. Jacqueline Dignan, organist for the Service. During the service the Sacrament of Baptism took place, when Evan Taylor, infant son of Alison and Stevie Ramage was welcomed into the church family. Another happy occasion, and the congregation again swelled by the attendance of the friends and family of Alison and Stevie. This Sunday, Morning Service in Muiravonside Parish Church will commence at the usual time of 11.30am and will be conducted by the Minister the Rev. Louise McClements. The Falkirk food bank and the Falkirk homeless project is still ongoing and there is a box in the vestibule to collect any donations for these causes. The Sunday services start at 10am with Communion, followed at 11am with a time of fellowship and refreshments. The summer family service is at 11.30am, when the guest speakers will be Brian Lowrie and friends – personal testimonies. Children of primary school age and younger will go through to the annex for their own programme at 11.50am. The crèche will also be running for under three’s. The church prayer meeting is on Wednesday at 7.30pm
