The southbound carriageway of the M9 near junction 7 will be closed this weekend to allow essential maintenance.
Amey begins resurfacing work at 8pm on Friday and the stretch of road will reopen at 6am on Sunday.
Planned in consultation with Police Scotland and Falkirk Council, the work requires full carriageway closure of the M9 junction 7 southbound on slip road from the M876, and the M9 southbound carriageway between the A88 overbridge and Kirkton farm overbridge.
A signed diversion route will be in place for the slip road and the main carriageway will operate in contraflow.
Traffic for the on slip road will be diverted onto the M876 westbound to junction 2, where they will turn and re-join the M876 eastbound before returning to the M9 southbound at junction 8.
