Parish Church

On door duty on Sunday are: Mrs M Hoggan, Mrs M. Erskine, Miss M. Brown and Mr S. Arneil. The flowers for this service are being donated by C. Park. On tea duty are: Mrs M. Andrew, Mrs J. White, Mrs C. park and Mrs S. Marshall. Volunteers are required on Monday, March 16, at 7 p.m. to help clear out the area under the stage in the hall. The Guild meets on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. for Bible Study and Bring and Buy. All welcome. The Ordination and induction of Rev. Debbie Van Welie as minister at Polmont Old Church takes place on Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. A ‘Messy Church’ is being planned for Saturday, March 28 in one of the unites in the Howgate Shopping Centre. All are welcome to come along and take part in this fun event. Holy Week services (all at 7 p.m.) are as follows: Monday, March 30, Slamannan (Bowling Club); Tuesday, March 31, Wallacestone Methodist; Wednesday, April 1, Polmont Old; Thursday, April 2, Laurieston (Maundy Thursday Communion); Friday, April 3, Brightons (Good Friday).


The annual general meeting will be held after the coffee morning on Thursday, March 26. Everyone is very welcome.

Gospel Hall

The preacher at the 3 p.m. Gospel Meeting in the Cotton Lane Gospel Hall will be Mr Michael Drummond from Armadale. Tea and biscuits will be served afterwards. Everyone is welcome.

Medium’s Visit

Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Mags Tierney from Glasgow as guest mediums for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, March 16. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
