The preacher at the 3 p.m. Gospel meeting in the Cotton Lane Gospel Hall is Graham Burnett from Dunfermline. Tea and biscuits will be served after the meeting. All welcome.
The theme for morning worship last Sunday was church family and family church. On door duty next Sunday, June 14, are A. Gardner, D. Turner, M. Walker and G. Young. On tea duty are Margaret Ferguson, P. Ferguson, F. Crichton and M. Andrew. The flowers for this service are being donated by Martha Maitland. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated in Laurieston at 10 a.m. On Sunday, June 21.
Tickets for the annual outing to Ayr on Tuesday, June 23, are now on sale during the coffee mornings. The price is £10 and includes a picnic lunch. The annual lunch organised by members of the Thursday coffee mornings will beheld in the hall on Friday, June 19, at 11.45 a.m. Children from Laurieston School choir will entertain at noon. There will also be a stall and raffle. Admission is £5 in aid of the upkeep of the hall. All are welcome, so come along and support the young and elderly of the village.
Laurieston Spiritualist Church will have Grant Kallus from Laurieston as guest mediums for its service in the Old Folks Welfare Hall in Mary Street on Monday, June 15. Doors open 6.45 p.m., service starts 7.30 p.m. Everyone welcome.
